North Rockford Middle School Students of the Month

Taylor-Ketelaar-(2)Taylor Ketelaar is a 6th grade student in our Structures Magnet and the daughter of Kevin and Laurie Ketelaar. She has two siblings, Karlie and McKenna, as well as three pets, Max, Holly and Dexter. Taylor attended Valley View Elementary and is active with SCOR soccer and basketball. Taylor would like to become an interior designer one day. Some of her favorites include teachers Mrs. Austin and Mr. Kirk, eating salads and chocolate, and the movie “Pitch Perfect”. Taylor is most proud of her hard work in school and the people that she admires the most are her parents.

 

Lincoln-FarrellLincoln Farrell is a 6th grade student in our Community Service Magnet and the son of Tim and Brooke Farrell. He has one sibling, Olivia as well as a dog, Chex. Lincoln attended Valley View Elementary and is active in Middle Mania, basketball, and soccer. Lincoln especially enjoys playing basketball with his parents. His college of choice is Notre Dame and he would like to become a physical education teacher one day. Some of Lincoln’s favorites include math with Mr. Saur, eating spaghetti and muffins, the movie “Reggie’s Prayer”, the book Beneath and Beyond and listening to Christian Rock. Lincoln is most proud of getting 14th in the state for his 5th grade spelling bee and the person that he admires the most is his best friend Hazen Zaniea.

 

Rose-SearsRose Sears is a 7th grade student and the daughter of Charlie and Barb Sears. She has one sibling, Grace and attended Roguewood Elementary. Rose is involved with track and field, Girl Scouts and also enjoys reading in her spare time. Rose would like to write a book and make a difference in the world in any way that she can. Some of Rose’s favorites include teacher Miss Adamus, eating strawberry rhubarb pie, the movie “Life of Pi” and the Charlie Bone book series. Rose is most proud of placing 2nd in battle of the books as well as getting good grades: the person that she admires the most is her dad.

 

Jacob-JohnsonJake Johnson is a 7th grade student and the son of Randy and Cherie Johnson. He has one sibling, Matthew as well as two cats. Jake attended Belmont Elementary and is active in track and field. His other hobbies include fishing and hunting. Jake’s college of choice is the University of Minnesota. Some of Jake’s favorites include teacher Mr. Long, eating pizza, the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, the Percy Jackson books and listening to all types of music. Jake is most proud of getting selected as student of the month and the people that he admires the most are his parents.

Charlotte-O'KeefeCharlotte O’Keefe is an 8th grade student and the daughter of Amy and Don O’Keefe. She has two siblings,Riley and Casey as well as two dogs and two cats. Charlotte attended Belmont Elementary and is active in student council, band, NJHS and cross country. In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with friends and running. Some of Charlotte’s favorites include language arts class, the movie “The Perks of Being a Wallflower”, and reading To Kill a Mockingbird. Charlotte is most proud of her hard work and dedication and the person that she admires the most is her brother Riley.

 

Clayton-AndrewsClayton Andrews is an 8th grade student and the son of Sonia and Bob Andrews. He has one sibling, Jack as well as a dog, Clarence. Clayton attended Valley View Elementary and is active in track and field and soccer. In his spare time he enjoys hanging out with his friends. Clayton roots for Michigan State. Some of Clayton’s favorites include teacher Mrs. Lewis, eating pizza and listening to rap music. Clayton is most proud of his hard work in school and the person that he admires the most is his dad.
