Blood drive at NRMS will save lives

The Rockford High School Interact Club is hosting a blood drive at North Rockford Middle School on Wednesday, June 26 from 2:00 to 7:00 pm for Michigan Blood. According to coordinator Rebecca Avella, a Rockford High School student, summer is a time of high need and low donations of blood.

“The summer blood drive is usually quite slow because most people do not know it is happening,” said Rebecca. She said the group has a goal of 25 units of blood.
