Remmelts

Obit-RemmeltsRichard “Dick” J. Remmelts, age 79 of Rockford passed away, Friday, May 31, 2013. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 56 years, Marjorie; their two daughters, Jill Fitzhugh and Jayne Remmelts and one granddaughter, Julie Fitzhugh. Also surviving are his brother, Dale (Sherri) Remmelts; sister in law, Barbara Remmelts; and brother in law, Thomas Stuit and many nieces and nephews. Dick was preceded by his parents; his brother, Jaymes; his sister, Joan Stuit.

Dick retired from Country Fresh and was the owner/operator of Van’s Dairy. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held at Blythefield Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions in Dick’s name may be made to Bishop Hills Elder Care, 4951 11 Mile Rd. NE, Rockford, MI 49341.
