Archery center shows impressive finish at state competition

The West Michigan Archery Center Junior Olympic Archery Development Club known as Top Nock JOAD sent 9 young archer athletes to the State Archers of Michigan State Archery Championship in Brighton, Michigan June 8 & 9.  Their results were impressive:

Grace Urtyl competing in the Female Cadet Compound division took Gold.

Jarrod Laux competing in the Male Cadet Compound division took Silver

Elliot Bekker  competing in the Male Cadet Recurve division took Silver

Charlotte Best competing in the Female Bowman Recurve division took Silver

Brianna Laux competing in the Female Bowman Recurve division took Bronze

Liam Smith competing in the Male Bowman Recurve division took Silver

Mikayla Venoms competing in the Female Cub division not only took Gold but also set 3 new National Records!

Also competing in the tournament were Zach Laux and Jake Hansen.
