Garden-ClubThe Rockford Garden Club is pleased to announce our 2013 Scholarship recipient.  Emily Sjuerdsma, along with her parents, attended the May meeting to receive her $1,000 scholarship.

Emily will attend GRCC to study plant biology.  She was a student at KCTC, volunteers at Meijer Gardens, FAA Nursery and works in garden sales at Knapp Valley Gardens.  She would like to discover medicines and general uses of plants to benefit mankind.

“We would all like to wish Emily good luck!” said Garden Club members.
