While details are still in the works, the field surface for the West Michigan Miracle League is being installed this week.

Tony Comden, President of the West Michigan Miracle League says they are on schedule for their September 21 Opening Day and subsequent games.

“We will then play games on September 28, October 5, and October 12.” Comden informed The Squire. “Hopefully we’ll be ready to start getting kids signed up to play through our website, www.wmml.org next week.”

The West Michigan Miracle League runs the Miracle Field, located at the Art Van Sports Complex, and they have engaged Wolverine YMCA to run their league operations.

The West Michigan Sports Commission continues work on the rest of the Art Van Sports Complex, announcing a new complex manager and website. Please see story on page 3.
