William M. Schuyten

 

William M. Schuyten, age 88, died on August 11, 2013 in the assurance that his sins are forgiven on the basis of the merit of Christ’s atoning sacrifice. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Joan C. Schuyten. His survivors are his children (and their spouses) Henry and (Judy) Schuyten, (Richard) and Lena Sterken, (Gene) and Patricia Kautzer, Frank and (Carol) Schuyten, (Jonathan) and Mary Cordes, and (Richard) and Lois Osbun; his 20 grandchildren (and their spouses) Stephen and (Katherine) Schuyten, Phillip and (Kristen) Schuyten, Brooke Sterken, Brandon Sterken, Johanna Schuyten, Caleb and (Amber) Schuyten, Jedidiah and (Heidi) Schuyten, Israel Schuyten, Abigail Schuyten, Nathan Schuyten, (Christopher) and Lydia Thornton, (Emanuel) and Elizabeth Jinks, (Anthony) and Rebekah Griggs, Julia Cordes, Richard and (Jessica) Osbun, (Thomas) and Sarah Van Wyk, (Gabriel) and Rebekah Sanderson, Paul and (Ashlyn) Osbun, Samuel Osbun, and Joshua Osbun; his 14 great-grandchildren and also nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 2:00PM in the building of West Cannon Baptist Church, 5760 Cannonsburg Rd. NE, Belmont, MI. Interment at Algoma Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 between 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Pederson Funeral Home, 127 N Monroe Street, Rockford, MI. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to, The Voice of the Martyrs, PO Box 443, Bartelesville, OK 74005-0443.
