The Rockford girls swimming and diving team took care of business in a non-conference meet at home Thursday, knocking off Catholic Central 120-64.
Rockford, ranked #4 in Division I, won 11 events, including finishing 1-2-3 in three different events.
Winning individual events for the Rams were senior Peyton Rayburn in the 200 freestyle (1:59.77), sophomore Samantha Knepper in the 50 freestyle (25.30), junior Elise Jendritz in 1-meter diving (291.70), sophomore Rachel Gamm in the 100 butterfly (1:00.50), junior Morgan Kraus in the 100 freestyle (54.17) and 100 backstroke (57.07), sophomore Masy Folcik in the 500 freestyle (5:23.71) and freshman Sara Kraus in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.39).
The Rams won the 200 medley relay in 1:50.77 (M. Kraus, S. Kraus, Gamm and Knepper), the 200 freestyle relay in 1:42.84 (Rayburn, Kaleigh Blockland, Anna Mixon and Knepper) and the 400 freestyle relay in 3:47.62 (Hailey Gates, Folcik, Sydney Seymour and Rayburn).
Former Division 3 state champion Susan Lagrand managed to win one event, the 200 IM. The Cougars are ranked #4 in Division 3.
Rockford wrapped up its non-conference schedule at Zeeland Tuesday, and is scheduled to host Hudsonville to open OK-Red action at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 21.
