Johnny Agar joins Under Armour and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for international campaign

Exciting things exist just outside the bounds of possibility, and Rockford athlete Johnny Agar is living proof. Born with cerebral palsy and a drive to compete, Agar appears in an international commercial and film series debuting this week from Under Armour and New York advertising agency Droga5, as part of a wider campaign about defying the odds through willpower.

Currently a senior at Aquinas College, Agar’s athletic career began at age 17. Now the VP of his school’s sports management program and an athletic ambassador for the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, he competes in triathlons, Ironman races and more with his father, Jeff. Johnny’s optimism, resolve and strong support system have earned him appearances on local & national news and ESPN’s E:60.

Now working with Under Armour, Agar joins several world-class athletes with films in the activewear brand’s “Will Finds a Way” campaign. The campaign begins with a launch anthem, featuring Dwayne Johnson introducing each athlete’s unique story of overcoming obstacles with sheer willpower.
