Local Missionary speaks at SEND International Global Missions Banquet

SEND missionaries Jaime Clore, Kevin Cochrane and Steve Baker discuss the joys and challenges of cross-cultural missions.

SEND International’s Global Missions Banquet took place at the VisTaTech Center in Livonia, Michigan on September 27, 2018. More than 200 attendees enjoyed the food, raffle, photo auction and presentations. Kevin Cochrane, a SEND missionary from Grand Rapids, was one of the speakers and shared about his ministry in Japan. Cochrane’s home “sending church” is Blythefield Hills Baptist Church in Rockford, Michigan. Other speakers at the banquet included Richard Nakamura, a SEND missionary in Seattle who works with Japanese; Sevil, a young Ukrainian woman who was impacted through SEND’s ministries; Jaime Clore, a SEND missionary to Spain; and Michelle Atwell, the US Director of SEND International. One attendee commented that “the food is always good at the banquet, but, more importantly, the program was interesting, informative and inspiring.”
