At the December 5th, 2018 Courtland Township board meeting the Courtland Township board appointed Terry Bartels as township trustee to fulfill the vacant trustee spot. Matt McConnon, left the spot open after being elected in November as township supervisor. Matt McConnon will fulfill the two-year term of supervisor Chuck Porter whom resigned earlier this year.
