If you are looking for any type of summer camp, STEAM class, or an all-around enrichment-based activity for your student, Rockford Community Services has a class.  There are many athletic camp opportunities for all ages this summer offered by the Rockford High School athletic coaching staff.  The Athletic Camp Brochure went home with students this spring.  All athletic camps are listed on the district website under the Athletics tab, or the Community Services tab.  Athletic camps are very popular as participants interact with RHS coaches and other students.

The Summer Adventures brochure also was distributed this spring to all elementary age students.  The brochure is packed with great classes for students.  Art classes, Broadway Bootcamp, Beyond The Rock Camp, recreation offerings, and many more opportunities.  There are academic summer school options during the month of July to help maintain and strengthen academic support during the summer for school age students, too.

Rockford Community Services also offers classes for adults.  Have you always wanted to learn a new skill?  Summer is a great time to try something new!  Options include finance classes, adult fitness and recreation, not to mention the many fun senior activities.

Rockford Preschool offers learning opportunities for 3 and 4 year olds during the summer.  Daily experiences include literacy, math, gross and fine motor development, and social skills.  Parents can choose a full day or half day options, with a two-day minimum.

Rockford Community Services offers plenty of opportunities for all students and adults to stay busy and learn new skills.  If you would like to explore more options, please visit the district website at www.rockfordschools.org for a comprehensive list of offerings.  Again, summer athletic camps can be found under the Athletics tab, or Community Services tab.  The enrichment offerings are located under the Community Services tab.

Have a wonderful, safe summer break.  There is no reason to be bored this summer!
