Spencers, Squire travel to Dominican Republic

 Becky, Doug and Chris Spencer took The Rockford Squire with them on a mission trip to Consuelo, Dominican Republic. There, the Spencers worked with very underprivileged children and made home visits. They plan to continue their support and make future visits.

RPS spends $45.8 million in upgrades

A new environmentally friendly and safer track is being installed by construction workers at Lakes Elementary School.

North Rockford Middle School (831 students) will receive additional parking spots and new sidewalks. The tennis courts will be relocated. New lockers will be placed in the hallway.
