Kent County Commissioner Roger Morgan shows 1955 Studebaker

Kent County Commissioner Roger Morgan had a 1955 Studebaker in the car show at the American Legion post. Morgan said the truck is rare as only 3,959 were made. His daughter, Emily, lays claim to the second Morgan vehicle at the show, a 1974 Karmen Ghia. The company made only 1554 of the vehicles that year, the last year they were produced.  According to Morgan, these are rare also and “rusted out like soup cans.” The design was by Porche, and the vehicles are sometimes called “a poor man’s Porche.”
