Rockford girls lacrosse team will play against East Grand Rapids on May 6 at 6:30 p.m. at East Rockford Middle School for a Pink Out Cancer Benefit. All proceeds are to benefit Rockford Relay for Life, and the event is sponsored by Pegasus Sports.

Ryan Baumann was named Player of the Week for the Rockford Rebels 12U baseball team for the week ending April 26, 2009. Baumann hit a two-run double in a game against Lowell and pitched five solid innings in close game against the Downriver Outlaws in a tournament in Battle Creek.
