The 20th Annual Hall of Fame Induction Banquet will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at Boulder Creek Golf Course. Social hour begins at 6 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m., with the induction following. Tickets are $18 per person and will be on sale at the Rockford High School Athletic Office, 4100 Kroes Road, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., beginning Thursday, Oct. 1, through Monday, Oct. 12. The 2009 inductees are Tim and Pam Beimers (community members), and athletes Tammy (Staudacher) Daly, Jason Hartman, Fred Rowley and Jason Schab. The inductees will also be recognized prior to our homecoming football contest with East Kentwood on Friday, Oct. 16, with the ceremony beginning at 6:40 p.m. Tim and Pam Beimers have been very busy volunteer workers, spending countless hours in support of Rockford athletics. Tim has been a member of the Rockford Sports Boosters board for many years, serving in various capacities. For many years he has served as head of the concessions program. He also has been very active in the football program. He brings the banner to the games and sees to it that things are set up at rest areas, banquet halls, stadiums and lockers rooms when the Rams travel. The Beimers have five sons, Tim, Brett, Luke, Jordan and Caleb (all have graduated), who were part of the Rockford football program, and a daughter, Amber, who is a sophomore athlete at Rockford High School (RHS). The Beimers have supported not only their children but also have given unselfishly to all of our athletes. Tammy Daly was a three-sport athlete at RHS before graduating as Rockford’s female athlete of the year in 1993. She was a varsity letter winner all four years in swimming, earning all-conference honors in 1992 when she was conference champion in the 50 freestyle.
