Crestwood Elementary raises money for animal shelter

March 10, 2011 By Squire News Leave a Comment
Five fourth-grade girls (pictured l–r) Polina Best, Alissa Butts, Haley Yeager, Dia Rozzano and Allison Hersberger from Crestwood Elementary School decide to have bake sale with all donations going to the Humane Society and Kent County Animal Shelter. With over 400 cookies, the girls raised $196.91, with no cookies left over. These girls have hearts bigger than ever when it comes to animals. There was no other charity they wanted to help. This bake sale was totally initiated by the girls as no parents assisted in their planning or sale.
