Marv and Joan Bunn celebrate 60th anniversary Marv and Joan Bunn of Rockford are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on August 25 with family and friends aboard the Grand Lady River Boat. The Bunns are the parents of Marcia and Jeff Brewer of Hudsonville and Bruce and Barbara Bunn of Holland. They are grandparents to Hillery, John, Russ and Katy Brewer and Stf. Sergeant David B. and Heather Bunn of San Diego, Calif. They have two great-grandchildren, Brennen and Seth Bunn.
Terry and Janette Konkle of Rockford are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary. The Konkles were married August 29, 1959, at the Burton Heights Methodist Church in Grand Rapids. They will celebrate the 50 years with a dinner at Grill One Eleven, the location of the Konkles’ former 20-year business, Sports Treasures, with family members and those of their wedding party who live in the area. The Konkles’ children and grandchildren are Brock Konkle and son Karson; Brent and Marcia Erickson and their children, Colin, Kelsey, Jason and Bryan; and Curtis and Brenda Konkle and their children, Daniel, Brett, Erica and Jennifer.
Al and Audlane (nee Whittall) Pedley are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on July 4. The couple were joined in matrimony July 4, 1959, in Belmont, Mich. The Pedleys are the parents of Pete and Debbie Wasko, Mark and Sue Pedley, and Kurt and Diane Kilar. They are the grandparents of Matt and Kim Tennill, Alan and Rachel Schell, Mike and Megan Sweeney, Ryan Pedley, Anna Kilar, Ty Kilar, and Luke and Ben Wasko. They are also the great-grandparents of Zach and Wyatt Tennill. Al and Audlane will be celebrating this occasion with a family dinner.
Navarres celebrate 50th anniversary William and Sharon Navarre of Rockford are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, April 17, 2009. They were married April 17, 1959, in Barryton, Michigan at the Church of God. Their children are Denise and Clyde Place of Barryton, Audrey and John Wood of Hickory Corners and Deanna Navarre of Grand Rapids. They have nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. An open house is planned for April 25, 2009 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Moose Lodge in Greenville. Family and friends are invited. No gifts, please.
