It has been a great summer season for the Rockford Riptide swim team. During eight weeks of dedication and hard work, 21 athletes qualified to swim at the state meet in 91 individual and six relay events. Under the direction of Head Coach Mike Cutler, with assistance from Megan Hirn, David Carson, Tom Parks and Kevin Brown, the club is delighted to showcase these athletes as they proudly represent Rockford Riptide at the state level. Rockford Riptide is a community-based United States Swimming (USS) competitive age group swim team. Their purpose is to introduce children to the benefits of competitive swimming and encourage swimmers to reach their highest level of potential in and out of the water while demonstrating leadership and sportsmanship skills.
