According to, Farmer is just the third high school junior in the state to make a verbal commitment to a Division I program. Farmer, the speedy lefty, is regarded as one of the fastest baseball players in the state of Michigan. He has been clocked at running a 60-yard dash in 6.65. Farmer, the leadoff batter, also hits with extra base power and plays strong defense in the outfield for the Rams. As impressive as he is on the baseball field, Farmer is even more impressive in the classroom. He currently carries a 3.95 grade-point average.
