Bajema-Romsek Jerilyn Rose Bajema and Brian Robert Romsek will be joined in marriage September 26, 2009. The future bride and her mother, Rebecca Bajema, are of Rockford, and her father, Dale Bajema, is of Holland. The future groom and his parents, Steve and Alice Romsek, are of Belmont. The couple are both 2003 Rockford High School graduates, as well as honor graduates of Ferris State University. The groom-elect also has a masters degree from Purdue University. Anderson-Albright Charles and Kathleen Anderson, formerly of Rockford, announce the engagement of their daughter Mary Catherine to David William Albright. Mary, a 1993 graduate of Rockford High School, earned her bachelor of arts degree from Lake Forest College in Illinois. Before her recent move to Carmel, Calif., she worked for more than 10 years as an event planner in Chicago. David, the son of Charles and Rosemary Albright of Amelia Island, Fla., earned both his bachelor of arts and master of business administration degrees from Indiana University. He was recently transferred from Chicago to Salinas, Calif. by his employer, HSBC Bank. The couple has planned a November 2009 wedding in Carmel, Calif.
Spindler-Mathis Stephanie Spindler and Jon Mathis of Chicago will wed on October 10, 2009. The future bride is a graduate of Rockford High School and Central Michigan University. The future groom is a graduate of Livonia Stevenson High School and Western Michigan University. Both are graduates of Oakland University. The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Calvin Christian High School, and has earned a BA from Grand Valley State University and ADN from Grand Rapids Community College. She is currently employed by Spectrum Health. The groom elect is a 1999 graduate of Rockford High School and is currently employed by Thornapple Excavating Inc. The couple is planning an August 29 wedding ceremony at Lake Leelanau, Mich., with a honeymoon in St. Lucia. Best man will be James Ford and maid of honor will be Abby Harrison. The couple will reside in Grand Rapids. Smith – Huizinga A September 19, 2009, wedding is being planned by Patricia Ann Smith and David Lee Huizinga. Parents of the couple are Kathrin Smith of Hudsonville and Richard and Teresa Huizinga of Rockford. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Northwood of Florida and Davenport University. The groom-elect is a graduate of Grand Rapids Community College. Torsky – Boscarino Paul and Susan Boscarino of Rockford and John and Dana Torsky of Cedarville, Mich. announce the engagement of their children Tony Boscarino and Jessica Torsky. Jessie is a graduate of Cedarville High School and Central Michigan University. She has taught at-risk youth through experiential education while completing a two-year Bible school. Tony graduated from Rockford High School and Central Michigan University. He has been serving as a worship leader and associate pastor for His House Campus Ministry in Mt. Pleasant, Mich. The couple met while serving in campus ministry at Central Michigan University, and are pursuing a career in Christian ministry together. An outdoor September wedding is planned, with a honeymoon in Cozumel, Mexico.
