Rockford donations save 129 lives

Melissa Meitz of Michigan Blood, 1026 Fuller Ave., Grand Rapids, reported that 47 people took the time to donate blood in Rockford on October 4. Of the 47 people who signed in, 43 were able to donate blood that day. Three were first-time donors and the total units of blood has the potential to save 129 lives.
