This weekend the Rockfrd Area Historical Society is still offering the Make It Take It Scarecrow Event. Pictured are Brian and Amber with children Macy, 7, Andrew, 5, and Caleb, 4. They are all from Rockford.

Children and adults marvel at the colossal real pumpkin on display at Garden Club Park. The pumpkin is one attraction that is all three weekends of Harvest Festival.

FARM FUN—is an annual event at Bishop Hills Elder Care Community during Harvest Fest. Children from Our Lady of Consolation Church and St. Peters Lutheran Church and the public enjoy animals from Farm Animals on the Go. Here Ruth Kreitch gives a kiss to a three-week old pygmy goat.

Buck Jones is a Rocford resident and returning Harvest Festival car show participant. Here he receives his plaque from Cannon Township firefighter Rowlf Hawkins. He placed in the top ten at this year’s event. He is the father of Rockford Police Chief Dave Jones.
