The Res-life Riders

Motorcycle ministry event a ride with a cause

They wind through the countryside, effectively threading an imaginary needle with their group. The bikers ride in perfect formation, staggered, yet still taking up less space in a lane than a single car. Motorcycles are an everyday sight in Michigan during the summer, but not a lot of them stage their rides out of a church. The Res-life Riders, a motorcycle ministry based out of Resurrection Life Church in Rockford, do just that, and are hoping to change the way people think about both bikers and God. Therefore, there is an official call to action to all:  Attend the Fun-Run and do your part to help local families. If you have a motorcycle, show up between 9 and 11 a.m. to register. The $20 fee to participate may not seem like a lot to you, but it will help so many people who just need that extra nudge. If you don’t have a motorcycle, ask how you can help. Contact the Lean on Me Outreach Center and ask what you can do to change the lives of people all around you, people you may know, but may not […]
